Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and peel the bitter gourd. Grate it using a grater.
  • STEP 2.Squeeze out the excess water from the grated bitter gourd.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 4.Add grated bitter gourd, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 5.Cook on medium heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the bitter gourd is cooked and slightly crispy.
  • STEP 6.Serve hot with rice or roti.
