Ingredients for Gol gappe Recipe

  • As required one cup semolina
  • 1.25 cup // thoil
  • 0.06 cup thwater
  • As required Oil For Frying
  • As required For pani:half cup Corriander leaves
  • As required Half cup mint leaves
  • As required small piece of ginger
  • 1/2 nos green chillies
  • 0-1/4 tsp tamarind pulp
  • As required Salt as per taste
  • As required Sugar as per taste to make it sweet and sour
  • 1/2 tsp jeera powder
  • As required One litre water
  • As required One medium size potatoes
  • 0-1/4 tsp boiled moong dal(optional)

  • STEP 1.PANI PURI/ PUCHKA/GOLGAPPE BY RUCHIAJAY MAHANT
  • STEP 2.ONE CUP SEMOLINA/SUJI/RAVA
  • STEP 3.1/4 TH CUP OIL
  • STEP 4.MIX BOTH SUJI AND OIL
  • STEP 5.ADD 1/4 TH CUP WATER IN SMALL PORTION TO KNEAD DOUGH.LET IT REST FOR 20 MINUTES.
  • STEP 6.AFTER 20 MINUTES AGAIN KNEAD IT FOR FEW MINUTES TILL IT'S SMOOTH...NOW DIVIDE IN SMALL BALLS
  • STEP 7.PRESS EACH BALLS IN HAND AND THEN ROLL DOWN IN ANY SHAPE .I PREFERED OVAL SHAPE
  • STEP 8.MAKE FEW TOGETHER
  • STEP 9.HEAT OIL AND FRY 3-5 AT A TIME, AT MEDIUM FLAME.TILL THEY ARE CRISP AND GOLDEN FROM BOTH SIDES
  • STEP 10.COLLECT THEM AND LET IT COOL FOR 2 HRS
  • STEP 11.YOU CAN HAVE IT PLAIN OR CAN ADD FILLING OF MASHED POTATOES AND MOONG DAL ALONG WITH SALT,PEPPER
  • STEP 12.FOR PANI.GRIND MINT,CORRIANDER LEAVES,GREEN CHILLI,GINGER,SALT,JEERA,IMLI PULP,SUGAR.TO IT ADD WATER
  • STEP 13.NOW REFRIGERATE PANI FOR 6 HRS AND THEN STRAIN IT AND SERVE IT .
