  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 Medium Sized Tomatoes, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1/2 cup Water

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Boil the potatoes until they are tender, then peel and cut them into cubes.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves. Let them splutter.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 5.Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and mushy.
  • STEP 6.Add the boiled potato cubes and mix well with the masala.
  • STEP 7.Add water and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the gravy thickens.
  • STEP 8.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or bread.

  • You can adjust the spice level according to your taste by adding more or less red chili powder.
