Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions until golden brown.
  • STEP 2.Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until fragrant.
  • STEP 3.Add tomatoes, turmeric, red chili powder, and other spices. Cook until tomatoes are soft.
  • STEP 4.Blend the mixture into a smooth paste.
  • STEP 5.In the same pan, heat more oil and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and dried red chilies.
  • STEP 6.Add the onion paste and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 7.Add water and simmer until the curry thickens.
  • STEP 8.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or bread.
