STEP 1.Pre heat the oven at 180 degree centigrade.
STEP 2.Separate egg whites from egg yolk. In a pan beat egg whites till soft peaks are formed. Keep aside.
STEP 3.In a separate pan add egg yolks with melted butter and baking soda. Beat till soft pale mixture is obtained. Add in vanilla essence.
STEP 4.Mix all the dry ingredients together.Slowly incorporate in the egg yolk mixture Add in milk to establish smooth dough consistency.
STEP 5.Fold in egg whites. Pour the batter in a well greased baking tin.
STEP 6.Bake for 45 minutes or till the cake firms up. Check by inserting a needle in the center and cake is ready if it comes out clean.
