Ingredients for Glass Noodles With Ground Pork Recipe

  • 2 teaspoon Oil
  • 2 Garlic minced cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger Minced
  • 1 tablespoon Sichuan doa ban jiang
  • 1 tablespoon Oyster Sauce
  • 15 ounce Ground pork with at least % fat 7
  • 1/2 glass noodles soaked and drained pound
  • 1.50 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 2.50 tablespoon Chinese cooking wine
  • As required Red and green chillies , deseeded and diced

step 1

  • STEP 1.soak ½ glass noodles in room temperature water for 20 minutes

  • STEP 1.remove from the water and drain. Place them in a bowl and cut with scissors so that they are not too long when eating.

step 3

  • STEP 1.add 2 tsp oil in a wok and turn the what to low. Add 2 cloves garlic minced, 1 tsp ginger minced, 1 tsp sichuan doa ban jiang (fermented bean and chili oil) and 1 tsp oyster sauce. Stir on low heat. In about 1 to 2 minutes the oil will turn an orange color.

  • STEP 1.push the ginger garlic mixture to one side. Turn the heat to high and add 7 oz ground pork with at least 15 % fat ratio.

  • STEP 1. mix with the ginger garlic mixture and cook till the pink color of the raw meat is gone. The pork fat will begin to render.

  • STEP 1. turn the heat to low and add ½ pound soaked and drained glass noodles.

step 7

  • STEP 1.add 1 ½ tsp soy sauce, 2 ½ tsp chinese cooking wine, and mix gently together.

  • STEP 1. in a few minutes the noodles will cook and turn transparent.

step 9

  • STEP 1. add red and green chilies as per taste, deseeded and diced. Continue to cook. If the noodles stick to the wok splash a little water and stir. Turn off the heat and add chopped scallion and give it a mix.

  • STEP 1.serve hot.
