Ingredients for Ghughra Sandwich Recipe

  • 6 Bread slices
  • 2 Green chilies
  • 4 inch Coconut
  • 5 Garlic Cloves
  • 2 inch Ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1 cup Coriander leaves
  • 1/4 cup Cheese
  • 3 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Chilli Flakes
  • As required Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Chaat masala powder

step 1

  • STEP 1.Chop the onions and capsicums into small pieces.

  • STEP 2.Then take a grinder then add 4-5 garlic cloves, 2-inch piece ginger, 2 green chilies, lemon juice 1 tsp, coconut 4 pieces, and 1 cup green chilies.

  • STEP 3.And little water and salt to taste and give it a blend

  • STEP 4.It should be a fine paste.

  • STEP 5.Now once your green chutney and chopped veggies are ready, we can go further to make the sandwich.

  • STEP 6.Start by taking a piece of bread and spread the green chutney on top of it. Then add the chopped veggies(onion and capsicum), sprinkle some chat masala on top of it, and a pinch of salt(we have put salt in our chutney so we have to be conscious while adding to the sandwich).

  • STEP 7.Now grate the cheese on top of the veggies, you can add as much you want there’s no binding while adding the cheese.

  • STEP 8.Now take another piece of bread and spread butter on it. Cover the remaining sandwich with the butter side and on the other side repeat the same by spreading the green chutney, then the veggies, pinch salt, and chat masala.

  • STEP 9.Grate the cheese again and then cover it with another bread spreading butter on it.

  • STEP 10.Overall it should be a layer of 3 bread each.

  • STEP 11.Take a tawa to add some 1tbsp butter, once the butter melts hop the two sandwiches on the tawa.

  • STEP 12.Let it cook for 3-4 each side, can repeat the same for extra 2-3 mins for more crisp.

  • STEP 13.And your ghughra sandwich is ready, serve it with tomato ketchup and enjoy it warm.
