Garlic bread flower Recipe

This bread is buttery homemade is always the best. Garlic bread is made with stuffing of garlic, spring onions, herbs and butter. It taste good with soup or salsa.

Ingredients for Garlic bread flower Recipe

  • 0.63 cups wheat flour
  • 0.19 cup Maida
  • 1/4 tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 0.19 cup warm milk
  • As required salt to taste
  • 3.50 tablespoons Flex seeds mixture ( flex seeds powder soaked in lukewarm water for minutes)
  • 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
  • As required For stuffing
  • 0.06 cup soft butter
  • 0.19 cup Spring onions greens chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon mixed herbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder ( you can use grated garlic instead)

Directions: Garlic Bread Flower Recipe

  • STEP 1.Prepare flex seeds mixture. Set aside for 10 minutes
  • STEP 2.In a mixing bowl add wheat flour. Make a well. Add brown sugar and yeast. Add 1/4 cup warm milk. Let it rest for 10 minutes till yeast gets active..you see bubbles on the mixture.
  • STEP 3.Add remaining milk ,add flex seeds mixture, save 1 tablespoon mixture for brushing.  Add salt. Mix well. Make a soft dough using lukewarm water. Add 1 teaspoon oil to coat the dough. Cover with cling wrap.keep dough in a warm place for 45 minutes.
  • STEP 4.For stuffing
  • STEP 5.Add 1/2 cup spring onions,mixed herbs and garlic powder to soft butter. Mix well.
  • STEP 6.Dough will become double in size. Add  Sprinkle  maida as required to the dough start folding with finger tips. The dough will be sticky but firm. Apply oil on the board also greased your hands . Place the dough and knead to coat with oil. Flatten the dough with hands. Cut into equal pieces. Shape the dough to a ball, flatten and press the dough with fingers. Apply 1/2 teaspoon stuffing. Sprinkle some spring onions. Fold into half moon then gather both corners creating flower  petal and repeat the process until finished. Arrange on a greased and round baking pan. Cover with cling wrap for 20 minutes.
  • STEP 7.Preheat oven @180* for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 8.Brush the bread flower with flex seeds mixture. Bake it in oven @ 180* for 25 minutes or till the garlic bread turns golden brown. Brush with remaining butter garlic and spring onions greens
  • STEP 9.Garlic bread flower is ready to serve
