Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Once they start to splutter, add curry leaves and green chilies.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent. Then, add the vegetables and cook until they are tender.
  • STEP 3.In a separate pan, dry roast the semolina until it turns golden brown and aromatic. Add the roasted semolina to the vegetable mixture.
  • STEP 4.Mix well and add water, salt, and turmeric powder. Stir continuously to avoid lumps and cook until the semolina is cooked through.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with coconut chutney or pickle.
