Ingredients for Gajar Halwa Recipe

  • 0.33 Kg Carrot
  • 2.67 g reen cardamoms
  • 0.67 Tbsp Raisins
  • 0.33 Tbsp almonds
  • 0.67 Tbsp Dates
  • 1.67 Tbsp Ghee

Directions: Gajar Halwa Recipe

  • STEP 1.Peel and grate the carrots.
  • STEP 2.Simmer in milk with the cardamom until liquid evaporates.
  • STEP 3.Heat ghee in a heavy pan and add the carrot mixture.
  • STEP 4.Cook over a gentle flame for 10-15 minutes.
  • STEP 5.Stir in sugar and continue cooking until the halwa turns deep reddish color.
  • STEP 6.Stir in dried fruit and serve.
