  • 3/4-1 pound Bone in skin on chicken pieces such as breasts, legs, or leg quarters
  • As required Large deep cast iron pan
  • As required Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup All purpose flour if you have self rising, that will work just fine, too, may have to increase or decrease amount depending on how many pieces of chicken you use
  • 1/4 tablespoon Seasoning:1 2 packages ranch dressing mix salt and 1/2 tablespoon pepper in it's place
  • 1/4-1/2 cup Buttermilk any kind of milk will do. you may need to add more or less depending on how many pieces of chicken you use
