Ingredients for Fura/Fula Recipe

  • 6 Nos Dried Chili Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Black Peppercorn
  • 5 Grains Selim
  • As required Ice cubes
  • As required Ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Cloves
  • 3 cup Millet seeds
  • As required Sugar
  • As required Water
  • As required Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

Directions: Fura/fula Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Blend the millets finely.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Separetely blend ginger,chilli peppers, cloves,grain of selim,black peppercorn alon with some water into a paste

step 3

  • STEP 1.In a bowl add some millet powder,then add the blend spices mixture and mix it.

step 4

  • STEP 1.Make a semi thick mixture. Cover it and leave it to ferment for 2 days.

  • STEP 1. In a cooking pot add the fermented mixture followed by salt.

step 6

  • STEP 1. Stir and cook until it is in dough form. Then add some water, cover and cook for 5 mins at low flame.

step 7

  • STEP 1.Turn off the flame and let it cool down. Now take a handful portion of the dough & make a ball

step 8

  • STEP 1.Coat the ball with the millet powder and keep it aside. Now blend some ice, milk, sugar along with a ball to make a fura.
