Directions: Fried Green Tomato Lasagna Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • STEP 2.In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Dip green tomato slices in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs. Fry the tomato slices until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • STEP 3.In a separate bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped fresh basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
