This french dip sandwich has got to be one of the best dishes i've ever tried in the slow cooker. It's really tasty and incredibly easy to make.

Ingredients for French Dip Sandwich Recipe

  • 1/2 Medium yellow onion
  • 0.38 C beef stock/broth
  • 0.13 C reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 C water
  • 1/2 T worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 T creole or spicy brown mustard
  • 1-1.50 Cloves garlic, peeled and roughly chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Minced thyme
  • 1.50 pound Chuck roast
  • As required Salt and pepper
  • 3-4 Sandwich rolls, or three demi baguettes, sliced into three rolls each
  • 4 Slices aged swiss cheese
