Makhana has replaced popcorn. It is crunchy, tasty, simple to prepare, inexpensive, and healthy. Makhanas are also known as Euryale Ferox, fox nuts, lotus seeds, gorgon nuts, and Phool makhana. These seeds are commonly used in a variety of Indian sweets and savoury dishes such as kheer, raita, and makhana curry, as well as as an evening tea-time snack.

Ingredients for Fox-Nut Recipe

  • 250 nos Fox-Nuts - gm.
  • 50 nos Ghee - gm.
  • 25 nos Black pepper powdered - gm.
  • As required Salt - To taste.

Directions: Fox-nut Recipe

  • STEP 1.Put ghee in a kadhai on medium flame.Now add fox-Nuts in it & roast for 5-10 mins till they are crispy & crunchy & inbetween also add salt & pepper.Take out from the flame & serve hot with tea as evening snack.
