STEP 1.Marinate the fish with salt & turmeric powder. Heat oil in a pan & fry the fishes.
STEP 2.Take out fish from pan & add nigella seeds in the same oil. Let it crackle & then add masterd paste,green chilli, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder. Add 2cup of water. When water will start to boil add fried fish. Mind it in this recipe don't flip the other side of the fish. Cook it till the gravy dried up from one side of the fish.
STEP 3.In another pan heat oil & add masterd seeds, dry red chilli. Allow them to sputter. Add tamarind extract, salt, sugar, red chilli powder. Add 1cup of water & let it boil.
STEP 4.When the gravy comes to a boil, carefully add the fish pieces on the side untouched by the masterd gravy. Cook it till the gravy dried up little bit.
STEP 5.Enjoy this dish with hot long grained rice.
