  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard Seeds

  • 1/2 Onions, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Milk
  • 1/4 tablespoon Tamarind Pulp
  • as per your need Fresh Coriander Leaves For Garnish

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Marinate the fish with turmeric powder and salt. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add curry leaves and dried red chilies.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Then, add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell disappears.
  • STEP 4.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder. Mix well and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 5.Add coconut milk, tamarind pulp, and salt. Bring it to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • STEP 6.Gently add the marinated fish pieces to the gravy and cook for 8-10 minutes or until the fish is cooked through.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
