Falhari Sabudana Vada / Sago Balls Vada Recipe

Recipe By Daxa Parmar

#mom Falhari Sabudana Vada, one of my favorite fasting snacks is a savory and mildly sweet patty featuring tapioca pearls (sago), potatoes, peanuts and herbs. It is naturally gluten-free and vegan. This fool proof recipe gives you a super delicious, crispy Sabudana Vada with a soft and light interior. Basically sabudana is pure starch and carb loaded. They keep you full for a longer period and this is the reason they are included in the fasting food. In the Indian hindu tradition, the Shravan month, Ekadashi and the Navaratri period are times when many devout Hindus keep a fast (vrat/upvas). My sabudana vada recipe is an authentic Maharashtrian recipe.
