One typical Spanish food that almost always disappoints in my experience is the humble empanada.An empanada is a type of baked or fried turnover consisting of pastry and filling, common in Spanish, other Southern European, Latin American, and the Philippines cultures. The name comes from the Galician verb empanar, and translates as "enbreaded", that is, wrapped or coated in bread.

  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 2-3 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 Onion
  • 5-6 French Beans
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • As required Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mixed Herbs
  • 3 Potatoes
  • 1/2 Capsicum
  • As required For Dough
  • 1 cup Refined Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1.50 tablespoon Butter
  • As required Water

  • STEP 1.Heat up the oil within the pan then add garlic cloves (chopped) saute the combination for thirty seconds then add onion (chopped), french beans (chopped), inexperienced chili, (chopped), salt, mixed herbs, potatoes (boiled & chopped).

  • STEP 7.Next, build a tiny low ball employing a little bit of dry flour (if required) then mistreatment the roller roll the dough into a form (as shown within the video).

  • STEP 8.Now add the filling, then fold it over and let all the air out by pressing the top utterly, then roll over the perimeters and do an equivalent with the remaining dough.

  • STEP 9.Next, boil the oil within the pan and fry the empanadas in 2 at a time.
