Ingredients for Eggless Orange ginger Cake Recipe

  • 23.50 cup ( grams) Wheat flour (measure then remove of flour)
  • 3.25 tbsp ( grams) Custard Powder
  • 0.13 tsp Baking powder
  • As required ½ tsp baking soda
  • As required ¼ tsp salt
  • 0.13 tsp ginger powder
  • 21.38 cup ( grams) Powder Sugar
  • As required ½ cup Orange juice
  • As required ½ cup oil
  • As required ½ cup Thick Curd
  • As required ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • As required ¼ tsp Orange essence
  • As required ½ tsp Ginger juice
  • 0.13 tbsp orange jest
  • 1/2 tbsp Milk
  • 1/4 nos drops Orange food colour (optional)

Directions: Eggless Orange Ginger Cake Recipe

  • STEP 1. Preheat the oven to 170 C. Grease a pan, dust it with flour or line it with parchment paper.
  • STEP 2. Measure 1.5 cups of flour and remove 3 tablespoons of flour. Add 3 tablespoons of custard powder to the flour and mix it well.
  • STEP 3.Add baking powder, baking soda, ginger powder and salt mix well and keep it aside.
  • STEP 4.Take a big mixing bowl and add sugar and orange juice. Mix it with a whisk or hand mixer for 2 minutes or until the sugar dissolves completely.
  • STEP 5.Now add curd, oil, vanilla essence, orange essence, ginger juice, orange colour and orange jest. Mix it to form a homogeneous mixture.
  • STEP 6.Now sift the dry flour mixture and fold it into the wet ingredients with a spatula or whisk.
  • STEP 7.Add milk to the batter and fold it with a spatula. Do not over mix.
  • STEP 8.Pour the batter into a prepared cake pan and bake it for 40-45 minutes or till a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean.
  • STEP 9.Cool completely on a wire rack and dust it with powder sugar.
  • STEP 10.Orange cake is ready to serve. Serve it with fresh fruits and cream.
