#Egg #BMST Paturi is a popular Bengali dish mainly prepared with fish but here i am using egg to make paturi, in this boiled egg is wrapped in banana leaves and cooked.

Ingredients for Egg paturi Recipe

  • 1 pieces Hard boiled eggs
  • 1/4 pieces Onion
  • 1.50 pieces Green chilli
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 tbsp Kasundi
  • 1/4 Tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 0.13 cup Grated coconut
  • A Few Few banana leaves
  • 1/2 tbsp musturd oil
  • a few Coriander leaves

Directions: Egg Paturi Recipe

  • STEP 1.Cut the boiled eggs into two pieces.
  • STEP 2.In a blender make a paste of onion, green chilli and coriander leaves.
  • STEP 3.In a bowl add onion paste, grated coconut, kasundi, ginger garlic paste, salt and mix well.
  • STEP 4.Take banana leaves, wash them and slightly roast them to avoid cracking. Now take banana leaf place some kasundi mixture in the centre, place half egg and put some more mixture over it, then put 1 green chilli and drizzle some mustard oil over it.
  • STEP 5.Now wrap it and prick with a tooth pick. Repeat the same process for remaining eggs.
  • STEP 6.In a pan brush musturd oil, put the wrapped eggs, cover and cook in medium heat till banana leaves get brown in colour from both sides. Paturi is ready, serve with steamed rice.
