STEP 1.Wash and clean fish . In a bowl add fish and season it with onion powder, paprika, black pepper, seasoning powder and salt.

STEP 1.Mix the seasoning ingredients well with the fish through bare hands. Once marinated, cover the fish bowl and set it aside for 10-15 mins.

STEP 1.Blend red peppers, scotch bonnet along with one onion to make a paste . Add oil in a pot & heat it.

STEP 1.Add chopped onions followed by marinated fish and fry it until brown. Once browned take the fish out and keep it aside.

STEP 1. Empty the cooking pot and using the same add palm oil & heat it. Add chopped onions and saute it.

STEP 1. Now add the blend ingredients and cook it for 15 mins with the lid on. then add locust beans, crayfish, seasoning powder and salt as per taste.

STEP 1.Add dry fish and mix it with the gravy. Now add the fried fish into the stew and cook it for about 5 mins with the lid on.

STEP 1.Now remove the fried fish from the stew and add the shrimps and cook it for about 4 mins. Then add the blanched spinach and cook it for 3-5 mins.

STEP 1.Serve hot alongside fried fish.
