This simple dish is quite frequently made in the mountain regions where there is scarcity of a few fancy ingredients.It is a humble dish and relished with rice or roti.
STEP 2.Add cinnamon stick, ginger straps, onion slices and fry till fragrant.
STEP 3.Add chicken pieces and stir well.
STEP 4.Add salt, meat masala powder and fry on high flame stirring gently to coat well.
STEP 5.Add little atta(wheat flour) to thicken the gravy.
STEP 6.Add hot water and simmer over medium heat till the chicken is cooked and tender.
STEP 7.Gravy consistency varies from one individual to the other.
STEP 8.Add lime juice and a few wedges in the end. Don't cook the lime as it will turn the taste of gravy, bitter.
STEP 9.Serve immediately with hot rice.
