  • STEP 1.Boil, peel, and mash the potatoes. Add chopped green chilies, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt to taste. Mix well.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add curry leaves and sauté for a few seconds. Add this tempering to the mashed potatoes and mix well.
  • STEP 3.Divide the potato mixture into small balls and shape them into flat patties. Dip each patty in a gram flour batter and deep fry until golden brown and crispy.
