Shukto is a very popular Bengali dish . Shukto is loved by all. Shukto made with variety of vegetables .This preparation is beneficial for health. Shukto with rice is unique combination.
STEP 1.Cut all the vegetables into 2inch size. Wash and keep dry.
STEP 2.Make a paste of black and yellow mustard alnong with poppyseed together.
STEP 3.Fry dried lentil dumplings separately.
STEP 4.Next fry cut vegetables with salt.
STEP 5.Make condiment of wild celery and fennel add paste of mustered and poppyseeds. Fry till oil comes out, add sugar and salt , pour milk in the pan. When comes to boil add fried vegetables and lentils dumplings. Cover the pan and cook for few minutes
STEP 6.Finally add ghee and powdered five spice.
