Dragon chicken is a popular fusion indo-chinese dish which was invented recently. It is a dish in which chicken in cut into thin strips which are coated in a batter and fried till crispy texuture and coated in a sauce is made with chillies, soy sauce, ginger and garlic.Addition of whole red chillies and cashews add a good texture to the chicken dish. This is a dry dish usually served with soups like chicken soup and chicken hot sour soup

  • 3/4 Cups Oil for Deep frying
  • 1/2 Tsp Dark Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 Tbsp Chilli garlic paste
  • To Taste Salt
  • 3/4 Tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 Tbsp Oil
  • As Required Dry chilli, to taste
  • 5 Tbsp Cashews
  • 1/2 Pieces Large onion sliced thinly
  • A Few cup -green capsicum chopped
  • 1/4 g inger garlic paste
  • 1/4 Tbsp Chilli garlic paste
  • 1/2 Tsp Dark Soy sauce
  • 1/2 Cup tomatosauce
  • 1 Tsps Sugar.....as required
  • 125 g m Boneless Chicken

  • STEP 1.➡️Take chicken in a bowl and add all the marination ingredients. Mix well and let it marinate for 15 mins. Now heat some oil for deepfrying. When the oil is hot drop the chicken in oil and fry till golden. Drain and set aside.
  • STEP 2.➡️Now heat oil in a frying pan. Add in dry red chilli and cashews and fry till the cashew turn golden brown.
  • STEP 3.➡️Now add in onions and bell peppers and toss well in the oil.
  • STEP 4.➡️Add in ginger garlic paste and saute for a min.
  • STEP 5.➡️Now add in red chilli paste, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, salt, ajinomoto, sugar and mix well.
  • STEP 6.➡️Cook this for a couple of mins till the water evaporates and sauce thickens.
  • STEP 7.➡️Now add in the fried chicken and toss well in the sauce. Add in chopped coriander or springonion and mix well.
  • STEP 8.➡️Serve hot.
