Ingredients for Dorito Pie Recipe

  • 0.17 pound Lean ground beef
  • 0.17 Package taco seasoning
  • 0.08 cup Water
  • 0.17 can Crescent roll dough
  • 0.17 cup Sour cream
  • 0.17 cup Shredded pepper jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup Crushed doritos divided
  • 1/25 cup Salsa
  • 1/25 cup Melted butter

Cooking Direction

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Brown ground meat over medium heat until no pink remains. Drain any fat.
  • Stir in taco seasoning and water and simmer until thickened (about 5 minutes).
  • Spray a 9" pie dish with nonstick cooking spray. Separate the crescent dough into triangles and line the pie pan placing the points towards the center of the dish.
  • Press the seams to seal. Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of crushed Doritos onto the crescent crust. Top with ground meat.
  • Combine sour cream & salsa. Spread over the meat layer. Top with cheese and remaining Doritos. Drizzle with melted butter.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until the crescent crust is golden brown.

Cooking Tips

  • Do not cook the meat for too long.

  • STEP 1.Serve this delicious pie with toppings like fresh lettuce, diced tomatoes, black olives and jalapenos.
  • STEP 2.You can store the pies for up to 3 days.
