Ingredients for Dhuska Recipe

  • 0.17 cup Basmati rice
  • 0.08 cup Chana dal (Bengal Gram Dal)
  • 0.33 tbsp Fresh green peas
  • to taste Salt
  • 0.33 tbsp Coriander leaves(finely chopped)
  • 1/25 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 0.08 tsp Chilli powder
  • as required Oil for fry

Directions: Dhuska Recipe

  • STEP 1.Soak Rice and chana dal for 4-5 hours.

  • STEP 2.Wash and drain.

  • STEP 3.Grind rice and chana dal with water to a idli/dosa batter consistency.

  • STEP 4.Now add green peas, chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder and chopped coriander.

  • STEP 5.Mix all ingredients well.

  • STEP 6.Heat oil in a pan and then pour some batter directly in the oil with the help of a laddle.

  • STEP 7.Deep fry both the sides till it changes the colour.

  • STEP 8.Serve Dhuska along with Aloo Sabzi or Dhaniya Pudina Chutney.
