Ingredients for Dhokla Recipe

  • 25 gm Tamarind
  • 3/4 cups Besan
  • 1/4 cup Curd
  • 1/4 spoon Sugar
  • 1/4 nos Eno sachet
  • As required Rai seeds
  • As required salt to taste
  • As required green chillies
  • As required Coriander leaves
  • 3/4 cup Water /
  • 1/4 spoon Butter (melted) for greasing
  • 0.38 spoon Suji
  • As required Oil for tempering

Directions: Dhokla Recipe

  • STEP 1.Mix curd, suji, besan and water, make a consistent batter
  • STEP 2.Add eno and salt.
  • STEP 3.Grease a vessel and add the mixture.
  • STEP 4.Boil water in a pressure cooker or any other thick bottom pan and keep the vessel with batter in it cover the lid do not put to whistle, keep it covered for 20 minutes on medium flame.
  • STEP 5.Turn the gas off and let the vessel cool.
  • STEP 6.Prepare the tempering with rai seeds and green chillies.
  • STEP 7.Remove the dhokla from the vessel, cut into pieces.
  • STEP 8.Pour the tempering, add tamarind water and sugar water.
  • STEP 9.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • STEP 10.Let it cool in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 11.Serve with chutney.
