  • 3 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 4 cloves Cloves Of Garlic, Chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • as needed Fresh Coriander Leaves, For Garnish
  • as per your need Lemon Juice, For Squeezing

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Rinse the split chickpeas thoroughly and soak them in water for 2-3 hours.
  • STEP 2.In a pressure cooker, add the soaked chickpeas, water, salt, and turmeric powder. Cook for 15-20 minutes until the chickpeas are soft and tender.
  • STEP 3.In a separate pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds. Once they start to splutter, add chopped garlic and saut茅 until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add red chili powder and cooked chickpeas to the pan. Mix well and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and squeeze lemon juice before serving.
  • STEP 6.Serve hot with rice or roti.
