STEP 1.Marinate the cubed paneer pieces with red chili powder, garam masala powder, haldi powder and salt for about 25-30 mins.
STEP 2.· Take a kadai add oil and ghee. Let it heat, now add cumin seeds and crushed cinnamon, cardamom and cloves. Let the spices get infused in the oil for a minute.
STEP 3.· Now add the onions and fry it on medium flame till it is half cooked.
STEP 4.· Now add ginger, garlic and salt and fry untill it is golden brown in colour.
STEP 5.· Add the spices red chili powder, black pepper, kasuri methi, garam masala, cumin, coriander powder, besan. Fry it on low flame for about 2-3 minutes.
STEP 6.· Add coriander and mint leaves and cook on low flame for 1 minute.
STEP 7.· Now add the crushed tomatoes and mix it well. Cover the pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes on low flame.
STEP 8.· Now on high flame cook till the masala releases oil from the sides.
STEP 9.· Before adding the Paneer to the masala, follow this step. In a kadai add 1 tbsp ghee and add the marinated pieces of paneer. Do not brown it, just let it be a little warm.
STEP 10.· Now add the paneer cubes to the masala and add water. Give a good mix.
STEP 11.· Cover and cook it on low flame for about 2-3 minutes.
STEP 12.· Finally garnish it with coriander leaves and enjoy with your favourite Indian bread.
