  • 250 milliliter Milk
  • 25 gram Sugar
  • 35 gram Cornflour
  • 2 No.s Eggs
  • 60 gram Gluten Free Flour
  • 50 gram Bread crumbs
  • As required Oil for deep frying

  • STEP 1. lightly brush a square dish with oil or butter.

  • STEP 1.in a small saucepan, pour 250 ml milk, 25 gm sugar and bring it to a boil. Stir to melt the sugar.

  • STEP 1. then add 35 gm corn flour by passing it through a sieve and stir continuously to avoid lumps forming.

  • STEP 1. keep stirring till the milk thickens.

  • STEP 1. then transfer the milk to the greased dish.

  • STEP 1. using a spoon apply light pressure and press it down.

  • STEP 1. cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours.

  • STEP 1.crack 2 eggs into a bowl and whisk well.

  • STEP 1.once the milk has set from, turn the dish over and demold it onto a cutting board.

  • STEP 1. chop it into equal size pieces.

  • STEP 1. in a plate add 80 gm gluten free flour

  • STEP 1. in a bowl add 50 gm breadcrumbs.

  • STEP 1. take each piece of set milk jelly, and first dip it in the flour to coat evenly.

  • STEP 1. next, dip the jelly in the whisked egg.

  • STEP 1. then roll it in the bread crumbs and place it on a flat plate.

  • STEP 1. in a wok, heat oil for deep frying on medium heat.

  • STEP 1.when the oil is hot add the pieces of jelly one at a time.

  • STEP 1. then turn the heat to low.

  • STEP 1.20 use a sieve or chopsticks to remove the pieces from the hot oil and place them on a kitchen paper towel to drain off the excess fat.

  • STEP 2.21 arrange the crispy fried milk jeely pieces on a plate, sprinkle with sugar and serve.
