Ingredients for Dan Dan Noodles Recipe

  • 1 No.s Fresh noodles
  • 1 cup Chopped scallion
  • 1 cup Blanched vegetables
  • 1 cup Chicken stock or pork stock
  • 1/2 cup Toasted peanuts
  • As required Pork toppings
  • 400 gram minced pork
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Sichuan peppercorn
  • 1 No.s Star anise
  • 1/2 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 tablespoon Shaoxing cooking wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 cup ya cai
  • 1 tablespoon low sodium light soy sauce
  • As required Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon sesame paste
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili oil
  • 1 teaspoon black vinegar
  • 1 cup chopped scallion
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sichuan Peppercorn Powder

Directions: Dan Dan Noodles Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 mix all the seasonings in a bowl.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 cook noodles in boiling water and blanch vegetables, when the noodles are almost ready. Transfer the noodles to the serving bowl.

step 3

  • STEP 3.1 heat oil in a pan and then fry star anise and sichuan peppercorn with. Then remove the spices.

step 4

  • STEP 4.2 add minced pork and fry. Add cooking wine around the edges. Then sugar and light soy sauce. Add ya cai, continue frying.

step 5

  • STEP 5.3 top this pork topping on the bowl of seasonings and noodles, chopped scallion and toasted peanuts. Pour around 1/2 cup hot pork stock or chicken stock along with the edges. Mix well before eating.
