Ingredients for Dalma Recipe

  • 1 Potato large
  • 1/2 cup Unripe banana
  • 1/4 cup th pumpkin
  • 1/2 Carrot
  • 3 Parwel
  • 1/2 cup Beans
  • 1/2 cup arbi
  • 1/2 cup Eggplant
  • 1/2 cup toor dal
  • 2 tablespoon toor dal
  • 1/4 cup moong dal
  • 2 tablespoon Ghee
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seed
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3 red chilies
  • 1 pinch hing
  • 1 tablespoon roasted cumin chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted fenugreek powder

Directions: Dalma Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Cut every vegetables in diced shape and wash them

step 2

  • STEP 2.Wash and soak the lentils for 20mins

step 3

  • STEP 3.In a pressure cooker , add the soaked lentils and the vegetables

step 4

  • STEP 4.Cook till 2 whistles

step 5

  • STEP 5.Heat the cooking pan, add 2tbsp ghee

step 6

  • STEP 6.Add 1tsp cumin seeds, bay leave and 3 red chilies,let them pop

step 7

  • STEP 7.Add 1 pinch of hing

step 8

  • STEP 8.Add the cooked lentils and mix well

step 9

  • STEP 9.Add 1tbsp roasted cumin chili powder and ½ tsp roasted fenugreek powder and mix well

step 10

  • STEP 10.Serve as main course
