A very famous recipe from my mom's kitchen. Though there are numerous recipes that my mom makes and are my favorite. But this one tops the list. It is a shahi dal that mughals used to make.
Ingredients for Dal sultani:nawabi creamy lentil Recipe
1/2 cup arhar / tuvar dal
1 cup Water
As required Salt
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1/2 cup curd
1/2 cup Milk
1/4 cup malai
5 Cloves
1/2 black cardamom
piece Coal
1/2 tablespoon Ghee
As required For tadka
1/2 tablespoon Ghee
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1.50-2 cloves garlic
1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder
As required For garnishing
1/2 green chilli
