  • 1/4 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 Green Chilies, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, mix wheat flour, salt, and oil. Add water gradually and knead into a soft dough.
  • STEP 2.In a pressure cooker, cook the lentils with water, turmeric powder, and salt until soft.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, onions, and green chilies. Saute until onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, coriander powder, and cooked lentils. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
  • STEP 5.Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a small circle. Place a spoonful of the lentil mixture in the center and seal the edges.
  • STEP 6.Heat oil in a deep pan and deep-fry the stuffed pooris until golden and puffed.
  • STEP 7.Serve hot with pickle or yogurt.
