Ingredients for Dal Shorba Recipe

  • 0.08 Cup Split Red Lentils
  • 0.13 Cup Carrot ( chopped)
  • 1/4 Cup Tomato ( chopped)
  • 1/4 Tbsp Ginger
  • 1 Cups Water
  • 1/4 Tsp Ghee
  • To Taste Salt
  • 1 Pieces arlic cloves
  • 1/4 Tsp Whole coriander
  • 0.13 Tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1/2 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • As Required For Garnish
  • As Required Roasted sun flower seeds
  • As Required Roasted Bread

Directions: Dal Shorba Recipe

  • STEP 1.In pressure cooker add washed lentils, carrot, tomatoes, Ginger, Water and salt and keep it on flame. Let it 2 whistle, remove it from flame.
  • STEP 2.When it cool down, mash it in mixer jar. For Tadka Heat ghee, add Bay leaf, Whole coriander and garlic it. When aroma becomes started add black pepper powder. Immidatly add tadka in dal. Now seive it
  • STEP 3.Again give a boil add black pepper powder and lemon juice. Dal shorba is ready.
  • STEP 4.Garnish with Roasted bread and roasted Sunflower seeds.
