#BMST #Egg Masoor Dal Egg Curry Presenting a delicious and combination dish called DIM DAL Curry where egg is not visible Its a curry ( semi dry ) made up of fritters where fritters are combi of masoor dal and egg and cooked in just basic spices. A wonderful egg curry to be served with hot steamed rice.

Ingredients for Dal Egg Curry Recipe

  • 0.17 cup Massor dal
  • 0.67 Pieces Egg
  • 1.33 tsp water
  • 0.33 Pieces Garlic Clove
  • 0.33 Pieces chilli
  • 0.17 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 0.33 tsp Salt
  • 0.08 tsp Turmeric
  • 0.67 tsp Oil
  • 0.17 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 0.17 tsp Baking powder
  • To Taste For gravy
  • 0.33 Pieces Big onion
  • 0.33 Pieces Medium tomato
  • 1.67 Pieces Garlic Cloves
  • 0.33 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 0.17 tsp Onion seeds
  • 0.17 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 0.17 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 0.33 tsp Coriander powder
  • 0.33 tsp Cumin powder
  • 0.67 Pieces green chilli
  • 0.33 Pieces Medium potato
  • 0.67 cup water
  • 0.67 tbsp Mustard oil
  • 0.33 tsp Salt
  • 0.33 A Stem bunch coriander

Directions: Dal Egg Curry Recipe

  • STEP 1.Soak Masoor Dal for 2-3 hours

  • STEP 2.Make a smooth paste of Masoor Dal + water + green chilli + garlic. Add turmeric + salt + red chilli powder + garam masala powder and mix well.

  • STEP 3.mix very nicely

  • STEP 4.Break eggs into the mixture and mix very nicely. Lastly add baking powder, mix well and transfer the mixture to greased pan.

  • STEP 5.mixture / batter in greased pan

  • STEP 6.Cover and cook under low to medium flame for 8-9 minutes. Flip it with help of a plate / thali and cook further for 8-9 minutes and allow to cool.

  • STEP 7.After cooling, cut into pieces and lightly fry till golden brown.

  • STEP 8.In moderately heated pan add oil, add onion seeds + garlic and allow to sizzle, then add onion + green chilli and sauté till translucent. Then add potato + ginger and stir fry for 2 minutes.

  • STEP 9.The add chopped tomatoes and sauté for few seconds, then add all spices + 2 tbsp water and stir fry till spices turn aromatic and starts leaving oil.

  • STEP 10.Then add water and give 5-6 times boil.
  • STEP 11.Add the fried egg fritters and cook for 3-4, minutes under low to medium flame. Add chopped coriander, simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes.

  • STEP 12.Keep in stand by mode for 2-3 minutes, dish is ready. Fritters absorbs gravy, so add water accordingly.
  • STEP 13.Serve with plain rice, roti, paratha and enjoy.
