  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Seeds

  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Rinse and soak the lentils for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.Pressure cook the lentils until soft and mushy.
  • STEP 3.In a separate pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, ginger, and garlic.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 5.Add tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  • STEP 6.Add the cooked lentils to the pan and mix well.
  • STEP 7.Add garam masala and coriander powder. Cook for a few more minutes.
  • STEP 8.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
