  • 1/10 cup Black gram Lentil urad dal without skin , washed and soaked for 3 hours
  • 1/5 tablespoon Yellow moong dal soak for 2 hours
  • 1/10 teaspoon Chopped ginger
  • 1/5-0.30 Green chilies
  • As required Salt
  • As required Oil for deep frying To prepare dahi bhalla
  • 1/5 cup Fresh curd thick yogurt Water 1 1/2 to 2 cups
  • 0.15 tablespoon Powdered sugar heaped
  • 1/10 tablespoon Red chilli powder heaped
  • 1/10 tablespoon Roasted cumin powder heaped
  • 1/10 tablespoon Chaat masala powder heaped
  • 0.07 cup Sweet tamarind chutney
  • As required Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
