Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, mix gram flour, yogurt, chopped onions, green chilies, ginger, coriander leaves, and spices to make a thick batter.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a deep pan for frying. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Remove the pakodis from the oil and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  • STEP 4.In another bowl, whisk yogurt with water, salt, and spices to make a smooth sauce.
  • STEP 5.Add the fried pakodis to the yogurt sauce and let them soak for a few minutes.
  • STEP 6.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve the dahi ki pakodi chilled.

  • Make sure the batter is thick enough to hold its shape when frying.
