Ingredients for Daal Bukhara Recipe

  • 1/4 cup Urad Dal(whole)
  • 1/2 Pieces Onions
  • 1/2 Pieces Ripe tomatoes
  • 1/4 inch Ginger
  • 3/4 Pieces Garlic
  • 1 cups water
  • 0.31 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powde
  • 1/2 Tbsp Chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 Pieces Green chili
  • A Pinch Aseofetida

Directions: Daal Bukhara Recipe

  • STEP 1.Soak urad daal overnight or for 5-6 hours boil it in a pressure cooker with salt, turmeric powder, hing, chopped onions, ginger and chopped garlic in the cooker.
  • STEP 2.Cover the lid and place the weight on the cooker and cook for 30 minutes on a low flame.
  • STEP 3.After 30 minutes are over, remove from heat and wait for the pressure from the cooker to release naturally.
  • STEP 4.In a small pan add ghee, zeera coriander powder and red chili powder
  • STEP 5.Add tomatoe puree and mix well
  • STEP 6.When tomatoes are done well add this tadka to the daal
  • STEP 7.Now let this daal cook on low flame for 15-20 minutes to gel nicely
  • STEP 8.add in the coriander leaves and mix well.
  • STEP 9.Serve hot with any paran
