Cuban Mariquitas Recipe

Recipe By QueRicaVida

Mariquitas are a traditional cuban snack. Resembling what many refer to as chips, mariquitas are made with green plantains. They are thinly sliced then fried in hot oil and sprinkled with salt, creating an easy snack that cubans love to enjoy while sitting or grab on the run. While growing up in southern california, my friends and i were always snacking on either store bought potato and tortilla chips, but when my grandmother made homemade mariquitas, i always ate my fill
