  • 1/5 pound Ground beef
  • 1/5 ounce Packet taco seasoning
  • 0.60 Cup Tomato soup
  • 0.80 cup Package Frozen Hash Browns
  • 0.40 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/10 Cups Sour cream
  • 1/5 Cups Can diced tomatoes with chilies mild version
  • 1/5 Cups Black Beans, Rinsed And Drained
  • As required for ganishing Cilantro, Chopped
  • 1/5 Nos Onion: small
  • 1/5 Nos Red Bell Pepper, Thinly Sliced

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and red bell pepper, and cook until they become tender.
  • STEP 2.Drain any excess fat from the beef and return it to the skillet. Stir in the taco seasoning mix and follow the package instructions for adding water.
  • STEP 3.In a separate bowl, mix together the tomato soup, diced tomatoes with chilies, and black beans. Place a layer of frozen hash browns at the bottom of your Pot.
  • STEP 4.Add half of the beef mixture over the hash browns. Pour half of the tomato and bean mixture over the beef.
  • STEP 5.Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese on top. Repeat the layers with the remaining hash browns, beef, tomato mixture, and cheese
  • STEP 6.Cover the Crock Pot and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the potatoes are tender.
