Ingredients for Creamy corn toasties Recipe

  • 3 Pieces Slice of wheat bread
  • 1/4 cup Sweet corn
  • 1/2 tbsp Chopped capsicum
  • 1/2 tbsp Mushroom
  • 1/2 tbsp Flour
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 Pieces Cubes cheese
  • 1/4 tsp Oregano
  • 1/4 tsp Red chilli flakes
  • 1/2 tbsp Butter
  • to taste Salt

Directions: Creamy Corn Toasties Recipe

  • STEP 1.Boil the sweet corn. Apply butter on bread slice and toast it from both sides
  • STEP 2.In a pan add little amount of butter. Saute chopped capsicum and mushroom. Remove it to a plate.
  • STEP 3.Now to prepare creamy saice, In the same pan add butter. Once it melts, add flour and keep stirring on low heat till it changes the colour.
  • STEP 4.Now once the flour is roasted, add milk and stirr continuously to avoid getting lumps. It will be thicken up.
  • STEP 5.Now add grated cheese, oregano, chill flakes and pinch of salt (as cheese is already having salt) and mix well. Your creamy white sauce is done.
  • STEP 6.Mix the sauteed mushrooms and capsicum and boiled sweet corn to it and combine well. Remove from heat
  • STEP 7.Spread this over toasted bread and serve immediately. You can garnish it with fresh coriander leaves while serving.
