  • 3/4 tablespoon Softened Butter
  • 125 g Boneless, skinless chicken breast, trimmed and diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Seasoning Salt
  • 1/2 cup Sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup Diced Onion
  • 1/2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1/4 cup Uncooked orzo pasta
  • 1/2 cup Beef Or Chicken Broth
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.13 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 1/4 Package garlic and herb cheese spread
  • 3/4 Cups Grated garlic and herb cheese

Directions: Creamy Orzo With Chicken And Mushrooms Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with seasoning salt and add to the pan. when it is cooked, keep it aside.
  • STEP 2.Next, cook the mushrooms for 5 minutes, and then keep them aside.
  • STEP 3.Place onion in the skillet and saute until it is soft. Add garlic and cook till golden.
  • STEP 4.Add uncooked orzo; cook and stir until toasted a little. Add 2 cups chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook till orzo is tender.
  • STEP 5.Reduce heat to low and add the garlic and herb cheese. Add the chicken and mushrooms and mix everything.
