  • 4 Nos Slices white bread, without crust and cut into small cubes
  • 1/4 Cups Castor sugar
  • 1/4 Tsp ground cinnamon (cinnamon powder)
  • 1.50 Nos Whole large eggs at room temperature
  • 1 Cups Milk (
  • 1/4 Tsp Vanilla extract
  • 0.13 Cups Melted butter
  • 1/2 Tsp Orange zest
  • 0.17 Cups Dried cranberries

Method

  • STEP 1.Cut the crust off the slices of bread.

  • STEP 1.Cut each bread slice into 4 squares and keep aside.

  • STEP 1.In a mixing bowl add sugar and ground cinnamon powder.

  • STEP 1.Crack open the eggs into the mixing bowl.

  • STEP 1.Add milk, vanilla extract, orange zest and melted butter to the egg mixture and mix thoroughly.

  • STEP 1.Butter the inside of a square baking mould and layer the quartered bread slices on it.

  • STEP 1.Ladle in the egg and milk mixture and sprinkle dried cranberries on top of each bread layer.

  • STEP 1.Repeat this layering process till all the bread slices are used up and there's no egg and milk mixture left.
