  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, urad dal, and curry leaves. Saute until the mustard seeds crackle.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped onions, green chilies, and ginger. Saute until the onions turn translucent.
  • STEP 3.Add corn kernels and cook for a few minutes. Then, add semolina and roast until it turns golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add water, salt, and turmeric powder. Mix well and cook until the upma thickens.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
