A quick and easy dish Corn Daal especially for bachelor and bachelorettes. Its that time when you are bored with the same old daal recipe, be a little creative, and follow this easy recipe.
STEP 1.Take 1 cup of american corn and wash them thoroughly.

STEP 2.Then add them to a grinder and make a smooth paste out of it.

STEP 3.Chop the 2 onions, ginger, and garlic.

STEP 4.Slit the green chilies from the middle.

STEP 5.Also, chop the coriander leaves

STEP 6.Start by taking a kadai to heat 1tbsp ghee.

STEP 7.Add 1tsp cumin seeds and saute them well followed by ½ tsp asafoetida (hing).

STEP 8.Now add the chopped onions and saute them.

STEP 9.Once they become translucent, then add the chopped ginger-garlic around 1 tbsp.

STEP 10.Saute all of them thoroughly.

STEP 11.Add the slit green chilies and give it a good mix.

STEP 12.Add the paste of corn and mix the paste well with the masalas.

STEP 13.Add tsp garam masala mix it, followed by ½ cup water (or as per you want the consistency).

STEP 14.Cover it with the lid and let it cook for 5-7mins.

STEP 15.Garnish it with some chopped coriander leaves.
