Ingredients for Coconut Malai Barfi Recipe

  • 1 cup Dessicated coconut
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar ( adjust as per taste)
  • 1/4 cup Malai
  • 1.50 Tbsp small packet of milkpowder
  • 1/2 Tsp hee to grease
  • 4 Pieces Sliced almonds for garnish

Directions: Coconut Malai Barfi Recipe

  • STEP 1.In a kadai add milk, malai, milk powder and sugar and mix well and keep it on gas to boil.
  • STEP 2.Keep mixing till sugar melts..
  • STEP 3.Add dessicated coconut and mix well and cook till it starts leaving the pan and forms a dough..
  • STEP 4.Grease a plate with ghee and pour the mixture and spread it evenly with a spatula.. Garnish with sliced almonds and slightly press with spatula.
  • STEP 5.Let it cool at room temperature and then refrigerate it overnight or atleast 3-4 hrs.
  • STEP 6.Cut into pieces and serve..
  • STEP 7.Instant yummy barfi is ready..
  • STEP 8.U can also add almond or cashew powder to the milk mixture to make it more rich.
